Again, the talent of the drawing school of Jaén (for the fourth time). This week visits our page Arturo Molero, another artist of great talent, set in the fertile land of artists: Jaén, Spain.

Mainly framed in graphic humor, Arturo is a regular contributor to the magazine "El batracio amarillo" and "Cretino cómic", as well as the newspaper Diario de Jaén, in which he has his own space for his vignettes.

Arturo has been an important collaborator, even becoming president, of the cultural association of Jaén Viñeta 6 (that tries to spread the comic art as culture), of which we have also spoken previously, since other members of the Jaén school have Collaborated with us (Juancarlos Contreras, Aguilar Sutil and Paco Nájera) have also been or are linked to it nowadays.

His drawings have been published in numerous publications such as the Jaén and Ideal newspapers, the yearbook of the Jaén Province, the German magazine EINS or the Spanish Guiándote, El Batracio Amarillo, El Pequeño Batracio, Viñeta 6, Killer Toons among others. He has also been able to show his art in more than 50 collective expositions across the globe, in countries as far afield as China or Egypt.

But behind graphic humor Arturo usually shows us a call for reflection on hot topics. Many of their vignettes have a message, and there is a great deal of work behind to create and develop them. Arturo has recently joined the Jaén protest movement asking for more investment from the central government of Spain.

Under the motto "Jaén deserves more", they intend to show us the precarious situation of divestment of the province, which forces young people to migrate to build themselves a future.
